Getting something for cheaper than you thought it was

There comes a time in your life when you get a bargain - a really, really good bargain. The best bargains happen when you weren’t expecting them at such magnitude. Old Navy is famous for providing this unsuspected wicked satisfying experience.
I’ll admit, I don’t really shop at Old Navy that much. Their clothes tend to not fit me quite right, and they’re not the best quality. But I don’t think most people shop at Old Navy for quality - they shop for price. And when at the Old Navy sale rack, don’t always believe what you see on the price tag.
This experience could happen at any place - a department store, a boutique, a chaotic, mismatched megastore like Marshall’s… You approach the cashier, hand her or him your garments, and awkwardly fish around in your wallet for your money or credit card. There’s always that one shirt or hat that was on sale and you’re secretly hoping that maybe it was on sale even more, but felt too dumb to ask someone. You watch as the cashier runs the tag under the scanner, and then there it is - discount nirvana. That winter hat that you’re buying in March that you were prepared to pay its already discounted price of $6.99 for just rang up as NINETY NINE CENTS. Victory dance!
It’s at this precise moment, on that little cash register screen between the beep of the garment scan and the display of the price, that your anxiety builds and then– instant wicked satisfaction as you’ve scored an out of season item for less than half the price you really thought it was.
Getting a garment on sale = generic satisfaction. Getting a sale garment on mega-sale unknowingly = Wicked Satisfying.

I just got a shirt at Ann Taylor for $4, and I questioned it and they said yes, that was the actual price for it, and I did a happy dance. Not quite as satisfying, but also… how often do you find Ann Taylor shirts for $4??
Whoa…that is a steal!! Ann Taylor is definitely not your typical $4 shirt establishment. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything that inexpensive there; that is amazing. *bows down to supreme bargain hunter-ness*
